Whitley Penn building in Dallas sold to D&M Auto Leasing, who will also move its headquarters

Whitley Penn has sold its building to D&M Auto Leasing, which is moving its headquarters to the downtown Fort Worth office building.

Grand Prairie-based D&M’s owner and partner, Anthracite Realty Partners LLC, bought the four-story office building at 1400 W. Seventh Street that formerly housed Whitley Penn.

The accounting firm, meanwhile, is relocating its headquarters to Frost Tower in Fort Worth, where its recent 45,900-square-foot lease took the city’s newest high-rise to 70 percent leased. Whitley Penn also recently announced plans for a new office in Plano’s Legacy West development.
