Houston’s first In-N-Out Burger coming to mixed-use project in Stafford

About two years after purchasing 200 acres in Stafford, Dallas-based StreetLevel Investments and partner Dallas-based Provident Realty Advisors Inc. have broken ground on a mixed-use project that formerly housed a Texas Instruments Inc. (Nasdaq: TXN) campus.

The mixed-use project, dubbed The Grid, will include a location of In-N-Out Burger, according to a Sept. 24 press release. It will be the first Houston location for Irvine, California-based In-N-Out Burger.

In total, The Grid is a multiphase, $500 million project on 192 acres, according to the press release. The first phase will open in 2019.

Other secured restaurant leases for The Grid include Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar, Pluckers Wing Bar, Outback Steakhouse and Chipotle, per the release. It will also include a food hall at the center of the development. In total, the mixed-use project will have 350,000 square feet of retail and restaurant concepts.
